We needed to pull out all the stops for Finale so we adopted a go big or go home mentality for tonight’s look. We paired this magnificent custom designed embroided & beaded  deco inspired sheath gown by  couture house J’Aton with black diamond earrings and rings by local Australian jewellery Cerrone and black studded Manolo Blahnik pumps to give the look a masculine edge.

Tonight’s finale look the hair was kept soft with effortless waves. I wanted to create a look of elegance and glamour to compliment the dress and makeup. First the hair was blown dry smooth and shiny. The roots of the hair were kept flat to the crown of of head. The hair was parted in a deep side part. On the mid lengths I created waves using a medium sized curling iron to create movement and a feel of old Hollywood. Lastly, hair was brushed out to keep softness and movement, creating a classic elegant, luxurious look.

Delta’s makeup tonight was all about a smokey eye to compliment her amazing dramatic J’Aton gown. I rimmed the eye with black pencil and smoked it out using rusty bronze and plum shadows. Lots of lash extensions were applied to the top lashes. Highlighter was used on her cheekbones and cheeks were peachy pink cream blush. Lips were left nude using our favourite peachy nude gloss.

For Delta’s nails we opted for something edgy, but chic. For this look we started with a soft nude moon and black tip. Finishing with a chunky, metallic gold tape through the centre.

Tonight we had Mariam Seddiq customise a gold gown for Delta for Semi-final night. We wanted to keep the look sexy and edgy to stay consistent and keep in line with Delta’s performance look of the night when she sang her new single “Enough”. The gown which was created from a jersey/spandex blend featured an asymmetric neckline and thigh high split. We paired the look with thigh high black boots and a thick black belt from Pelle Shoes. We kept it relatively simple with jewellery opting for gold earrings by Adorne and a bangle by Balyck.

For tonight’s look I decided to create a style that would work for both the chair and performance! The hair was blown dry with lots of volume and texture. Using sea salt spray and volume products at roots and mid lengths of hair. The hair was side parted and dust was applied to roots to give gritt and volume. For the final texture hair was curled using a medium sized curling wand in different directions from roots to ends. When the hair was cooled I raked through with my fingers and shook out the hair. To hold final look in place hair was spritzed with hair spray.

For tonight’s look we wanted to go a little more rock chick than our previous two outfits and edge up Delta’s look a little. We opted for a pink, red and white Mariam Seddiq tunic with custom made Mariam Seddiq flares layered underneath. I chose heavy black statement jewels by House of Emmanuele to compliment the beading detail on the tunic.

For Tonight’s look we had local Aussie designer Mariam Seddiq customise an outfit for Delta. The jumpsuit featured a high neck, open back, wide leg pant and a floor length one armed Cape. We
really wanted to opt for a bright bold colour for the second show to contrast the white from last week. We chose Magenta because the colour is amazing against Deltas skin tone. I really wanted to go unexpected with the accessories so I chose turquoise and navy tassel drop earrings and vintage gold cuffs by New York jeweller Ben Amun which I sourced from Pierre Winter Fine Jewels in Paddington.

Last night I wanted to make Delta’s eyes pop by using a combination of apricot, rusty copper and plum tones around the eye. These tones really bring out her gorgeous blue eyes and compliment the rich purple of her outfit. I rimmed the eye in a bronze pencil and used lots of black mascara and lash additions. I finished with a peachy blush and a nude glossed lip.

For tonight’s look we have gone with a Tiffany green polish to compliment Delta’s stunning earrings and to add a colour pop to her jumpsuit.

Tonight we chose a one off couture gown by local Australian designer Mariam Seddiq. The gown, made from a white matte crepe features antique silver beads and crystals around the neck, waist and sleeves which have all been hand beaded onto the gown. We wanted to go minimal with the accessories and let the dress do all the talking so we chose some silver and crystal stud Swarovski earrings to tie in with the detail on the dress.

For tonight’s look I kept the hair simple and clean.
Firstly, the hair was blown dry using texture products and leave in conditioner. Then I added texture powder to the roots and pulled the hair back into a high ponytail. I added texture to the ponytail by creating movement in different directions using finishing spray and a 25mm curling wand. The hair was finished using finishing creme and hairspray.

I kept her makeup very natural to compliment and not compete with the adornment on the dress. The tones were all neutral taupes. Nude lips and pastel pinky cheeks. The overall effect was soft, pretty and neutral.

For tonight, I created a look with soft movement and texture.

First, on freshly washed hair I applied a blowout balm. Then mid lengths to ends spritzed with sea salt spray to create texture. The hair was divided into a centre part and blown dry keeping natural movement. When the hair was fully dry I used medium and small sized curling wands to create natural movement to the mid lengths, keeping the ends straight. A spritz of hairspray and shine spray was applied to the finish look to keep fullness. Making the overall look full and textured.

This makeup is all about the strong matte berry lip which is a very editorial look and my favourite of the season so far. The skin is perfected to a paler finish to make this even more striking. The cheekbones are lightly contoured in taupe and a pinky, peach blush used to give a flush of warmth to the apples of the cheek. The eyes were kept softer, dusted in warm gold shadows and lashes were coated in lots of black mascara. Full lashes were achieved using fluttery additions.  A cream pencil was used on lower rims to really open up the eye.

For tonight’s look I created a look with two different textures. Firstly, I created texture and movement at the roots and crown of the head using sea salt spray and texture products diving the hair ear to ear. I then pulled half the hair divided ear to ear into a ponytail at the crown. Keeping the front of the hair textured and loose. For the back section of the hair I created loose waves using a medium sized curling wand and brushed through. The hair was finished and held into place with pins and hairspray.

This look is a very natural face using monochromatic tones in taupe, gold, and beige. Eyes were gently contoured using these colours. Brown kohl rims the lower eyeline to give definition. Extra lashes were added to open the eye and give a feminine flutter to the lids. I kept the look fresh and dewy concentrating on flawless skin. A dewy peach blush and caramel peach gloss completed the makeup.

For tonight’s look Delta wore her hair up in a double top knot, to compliment the drama of the silver outfit. Firstly, the hair was blown dry, smooth and shiny using a large round bristle brush. I then divided the hair into two sections ear to ear. The hair was then pulled into two ponytails side by side at the crown. Using a large barrel curling iron, the pony tails were curled to give bend and finish to the ends. Finally, the hair was pinned into two knots side by side and finished with hairspray and wax to hold the look in place.

The lightly smoked out eye was created using champagne beige and a lilac grey shadows, softly blended around the eye. Black kohl was used to rim the eye to give definition. Lots of black mascara on tops and bottom lashes to open up the eye. I always contour the cheekbones and highlight the top. We did a peachy blush and a peachy nude lip. The body was glossed with a shimmer cream.

Delta’s look tonight was a modern take on a classic old Hollywood style.

Skin was prepped using a collagen moisturizing cream. Then foundation was applied using a foundation brush. Contours for cheekbones were created using matte taupe powders in the socket and a luminescing powder on the upper cheekbone.  The eyes were lightly contoured with the same taupe and lids were highlighted using a shimmery gold shadow. The lash was the focus of the eye, which was achieved using additional lashes. No mascara was needed. The soft fluttery lash was so feminine and pretty all we needed to finish off was a gorgeous pop of classic Hollywood red on the lip and a light dust of peachy pink on the cheeks.

For this look of the first battle rounds we kept the hair soft and elegant. For the styling look I created short waves. First, we shampooed and conditioned the hair. Next, moose was applied to mid lengths and ends and blown dry using a large bristle brush. Keeping the roots flat and ends smooth. Next the mid-lengths were waved using a medium size curling iron to create a Hollywood glamour look. I then brushed the hair out using a bristle brush. To finish the look, I applied hairspray and a spritz of shine spray to keep the hair looking shiny and expensive!

For the opening show of The Voice this year the look was very soft, effortless waves. First, the hair was blown dry using a combination of styling mouse and leave in conditioner. The hair was dried smooth using a large round bristle brush to create volume and movement. I then lightly sprayed the hair with sea salt spray and dried to create some texture in mid lengths. I then created soft waves and movement using a medium size barrel curling wand. Finally, the hair was brushed out and side parted using a bristle brush to create shine and texture. Effortless glamour and softness for this ethereal look.

Delta’s look for the auditions was a natural, fresh, but still very polished and sexy makeup. I contoured the cheek bones and jaw line to give the face structure and shape. Then I used a bronze eye shadow – the eye lid really popped by using the gold glitter shade. I did a fine flicked black eye liner on the top lid to elongate the eye. Lots of mascara was used on the top lashes. The lower rim of the eye lid was lined with a cream coloured pencil to make the eye appear larger. A cream blush was applied to the apples of the cheek. Lips were kept natural and glossy.
