Delta's BRIDGE OVER TROUBLED DREAMS TOUR, set to tour Australia in April and May 2021, will move to September and October 2021.
This move has been rendered necessary due to the COVID-19 pandemic and associated restrictions. Whilst everyone involved is disappointed to reschedule the concert dates, out of an abundance of caution, the safety of fans, touring crew and venue staff will take precedence.
Delta said, “Performing live shows and being together in the one room with my fans means so much to me. Since we announced the tour, my priority has always been the safety and health of fans, crew and venue staff and we remain committed to ensuring the indoor concert experience is the safest and absolute best it can be.
We've given this a tremendous amount of thought and whilst we are incredibly optimistic of how things are improving, out of an abundance of caution and to be certain of the best experience for fans coming to the shows and all of the staff and crew working on the tour, we've made the difficult decision to move the tour to September and October. We are greatly encouraged by the improvement in the national touring outlook and whilst I would love to be touring in April, we believe that waiting an extra few months will put our hearts and minds beyond doubt.
I am overwhelmed with the support of people coming to the shows, so hang on to your tickets. Same show, same seats, new dates. I cannot wait to bring this tour to life and for it to be a huge celebratory night of fun, music, love and light.”
Tickets purchased for the April / May 2021 concerts remain valid for the re-scheduled dates, with ticket holders not needing to take any action. Click here for tickets.
